Basil (バジル, Bajiru^?) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. He is the father of Marie and the husband of Anna.

Basil is a botanist who is very enthusiastic and dedicated to his work with plants. Basil has written many books about his work, many of which can be found at the town's library. He lives with his wife Anna and daughter Marie. He will visit Mother's Hill with his family every Monday to study plants, but stays at home to work on writing books otherwise. In the evenings, he likes to visit the Inn.

If befriended, he will give the player the recipe for Fruit Smoothie.
