Bastian is a Villager in Harvest Moon: Light of Hope.
He is a French man with once-successful restaurant in Beacon town. After the storm hit he left town with his daughter as his restaurant was destroyed both physically and by the abandonment of the clientele, as the townsfolk left the island.
Once Bastian's Restaurant is repaired, he returns to the island with a burning passion in his heart to teach his daughter, Elisé to become a great chef like himself one day.
He sells Cooking Recipes which, upon purchasing, allow the player to craft consumables in their Farmhouse's kitchen.
