This article is about Carter, a character from Back to Nature. You may be looking for Carter as he appears in Friends of Mineral Town. This is not to be confused with Carter, an archeologist in the Harvest Moon series.

Carter (カーター, Cātā) is a character in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature.

Carter is Mineral Town's pastor, at the Church. He is a kind man, devoted to his beliefs, and aids those who are seeking help, like Cliff. He watches over Stu and May when they come to play at the church.

Between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, the player can confess their "sins" to Pastor Carter in the confessional room inside the Church. Initially, he is available for confession every afternoon. Once he begins watching after Stu and May, he is only available for confession on Mondays and Wednesdays.
