Marriage Candidates

In most Harvest Moon games, other than taking care of your farm, your main goal is getting married with a marriage candidate the player can chose.

There are various bachelorettes and bachelors, all with different personalities. To marry one of them the player needs to get their affection up to max level, this can be done by talking to them every day and give them gifts they like. The marriage candidates can also have heart events which can be triggered when entering a certain location at a specific time. Different heart events require the bachelors/bachelorette to have a specific amount of affection, and you can further increase it by selecting the right answer during the event.

When a marriage candidate's affection is at max level, they can be married. Different games have different marriage requirements but the most common ones are:

- Having full affection with the character you want to marry, and see all of their events.

- Have a fully upgraded house, and a large bed.

- Own a blue feather. You need to buy it and give it to your boyfriend/girlfriend after you've completed all of the other requirements.

After that a cutscene of you can the spouse getting married.

You can also have children with your spouse after you marry them and keep them happy.
