Cliff (クリフ, Kurifu^? lit. Cliff) is a traveling villager from Mineral Town.

He visits during the spring season and stays at Carol's Inn on Sprout Island. Cliff tends to keep to himself and stays at the inn until 11am on sunny days, goes to the Diner until 3pm, and then hangs out on Sprout and Verdure islands until 11pm. On rainy days, he goes to the church on Mystic Islands between 11am to 6pm. Cliff is never in town on his birthday.

Unlock: Raise all of the islands except for Sunny Island, and then wait until Spring 2. Cliff will leave on Summer 1 and return the following spring season.

Walk into the church between 11am and 6pm during a rainy spring. Cliff and Nathan have 6 hearts or higher

Cliff compliments Nathan on his nice church, and tells him that he goes to the church back in Mineral Town. When Nathan asks what the faith is of the Mineral Town, Cliff says that Carter is very unconventional and tells everyone to look inside themselves to find their own faith.

• If you have 7 hearts with Cliff, he will give you a present if you have a birthday in Spring and you speak with him. There are three different presents available, depending on the year. He will give you either a Sponge Cake (Year 1), Bamboo Rice (Year 2) or Cheese Fondue (Year 3). These gifts will continue in a set rotation every three years.
