Cows are a farm animal in Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

Baby cows can be purchased from Blue Sky Ranch for 3,500 G and will be delivered to your barn. It takes two weeks to mature before it will start producing milk. They eat hay (which is purchased from Blue Sky Ranch) or grass that can be grown outside during the spring summer, and fall. They produce milk after eating or being fed.

An adult Cow is capable of producing Milk once a day when using a milker. The quality of the Milk is determined by the Cow's affection level effecting the percentage (it has a chance of being better if you brushed it first and if you won the cow festival).

Butter[]
With a Lvl 2 Barn, Micheal will sell the butter maker for 3000G or it can be won at a cow festival. The butter maker can convert milk into butter and is more profitable than milk.
