This article is about Craig, a character from Animal Parade. You may be looking for Craig, a character from Tree of Tranquility.

Craig (クレソン Kureson, lit. Cresson) is a character in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.

Craig has a very similar demeanor as he did in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. He runs Marimba Farm with his family, and is a resident of Flute Fields. He is a farmer, and is discouraged when his business isn't running smoothly.

His wife, Ruth, is constantly arguing with Craig about their children and finances. Part of Craig's bad mood stems from the poor state of the land in the beginning of the game. Once Craig's situation with his business and family improves, he is somewhat more cheerful.[1]

Deep down, Craig is a very hard worker, and only wants what is best for his family. He is a professional at caring for crops, and takes part in the Harvest Festival each year.

He never leaves Flute Fields, and can always be found outside of Marimba Farm, or inside of the shop. He's not very talkative, but loves cocktails and shining crops.

Story

Spoiler warning: The following may contain important story spoilers.

Craig and his family become important to the storyline during your search for the Yellow Bell Frame. The soil is in poor condition, and Marimba Farm has been unable to crow good quality crops. The family's financial situation is poor, and it's caused Craig and Ruth's children (Taylor and Anissa) to leave home.

Because he can't do anything about it himself, Craig would rather complain then find a solution. Ruth will complain that Craig is useless, and will ask that you bring her 10 "good" quality crops (lettuce, tomatoes, pumpkins, or buckwheat).[3]

Once you do, she will give you a key to open up the gate where the Yellow Bell Frame is. You will see Craig here praying to the Harvest Goddess for the earth to once again be healthy. Although embarrassed, he will allow you to hang the Yellow Bell on the frame.

After the bell is rung, Craig's mood will somewhat improve. Marimba Farm will be able to grow crops once again, improving the family's financial situation. Ruth will stop arguing with him as much, and Taylor and Anissa will also return home.[4]
