Crops consist of vegetables, flowers, and grain that the player can grow on their farm in Harvest Moon GBC 3. These are the best source of income for the player because, aside from selling, the player may take part-time jobs from the Farmer's Union that will yield more money.
All crops are seasonal and may only be purchased and grown in their specific season. Most seeds are purchased from Lukia in the Shopping Mall, but grains may be purchased from the Farmer's Union and some flower seeds can only be obtained from you cat or bird or the extra seeds event.

Flowers are a type of crop that can be grown in any season. These crops may be sold, however they make better gifts as they raise affection the most.
If the player owns a flower pot, bought from the Shopping Mall, flowers can be used to decorate the farm house by gifting them to your partner.

Grains[]
Grains are a unique crop that can be planted in any season and takes two full seasons to fully mature.
These crops do not need to be watered and fertilzers will not effect them. They also cannot be destroyed by hurricanes - however earthquakes and wild animals can destroy them so care should be taken to avoid these.
