The dog is a pet available in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
Obtaining[]
At the start of the game, two stray dogs will appear on your farm. Takakura allows you to pick one of them to keep as a pet, and takes the other one to the city to find it an owner. You get your choice of the pointy-eared dog, or the floppy-eared dog. You're able to name it using up to seven characters.
The chosen dog will now live in the doghouse on the player's farm.
Care and Interaction[]
Unlike the original, the dog does not need to be fed. Instead, Takakura will take care of him and feed him daily - which gives the player more time to train their dog instead! The dog is able to be pet and trained to perform four different tasks. These include:
- Paw
- Jump
- Beg
- Spin
