Doug owns and manages the Inn in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature and spends all of his time there. His wife has long since passed and tries his best to raise his daughter, Ann. He worries about her tomboy nature and hopes that she will one day get married.

Doug has bright orange hair like Ann and has a distinguishable mustache.
