Felix (フェリックス, Ferikkusu^? lit. Felix) is a character in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

Unlocking

On the player's second bazaar, Felix will open his stall, providing the player with foraging and farming techniques as well as the double jump which was previously unlocked by default in the original Grand Bazaar. Aside from this, he primarily offers windmill products like soy sauce and breadcrumbs, and may occasionally sell foods.

Whenever the player receives a title or makes increases the bazaar rank, Felix will send them a congratulatory gift on the next day.

Story

The mayor of Zephyr Town, Felix was the son of the previous mayor and farmer, who left on a journey some time before the player's arrival. Without his mother, Felix struggled to find an appropriate farmer to replace her whilst juggling his new duties as mayor. As a result, Zephyr Town's Bazaar plummeted in popularity and ranking and lost most of its old tourists. By chance, the player finds Felix's flyer and moves to Zephyr Town to take up the role.

Impressed with the player's salesmanship in their first bazaar, Felix provides them with tools and later introduces them to many of the townsfolk. Upon reaching Town Bazaar Rank, the Bazaar Review Board, intrigued with Zephyr Town's rebound, sends Diana and Harold to Zephyr Town to help continue the growth. From there, Felix works with Diana closely to manage the bazaar while Harold is allowed to take over the town's postal service.

As Zephyr Town's rank increases, Diana becomes more curious over the identity of Felix's mother, but Felix feels that even with the growth, he can never amount to the same level as his mother. Diana, however, encourages Felix to increase Zephyr Town's reputation so that his traveling mother would eventually hear of her old hometown and would return to see how things had changed. After hitting City Bazaar Rank, Harold finally receives a letter addressed to Felix from his mother but with explicit instructions only to open it after hitting Regional Bazaar Rank.

Once the town reaches the next milestone, Felix learns that his mother had left the town as she felt Felix was competent enough in her absence, but this leaves him more dejected at how things immediately turned when she left. Thanks to the others, he is able to recompose himself by the time Zephyr Town's bazaar reaches National Rank, but he soon catches a cold and has to miss out on running the bazaar, forcing the player and others to cover. After the bazaar, the player visits him where he apologizes for failing to live up to everyone's expectations at a simple task, but Samir corrects Felix; as a leader's role is to guide others, not to be perfect. Soon after, Freya delivers a letter from Felix's mother, congratulating her son and challenging him to reach World Bazaar rank before she can with her new town.

Touched by these words and reinvigorated, Felix rouses himself and accepts his mother's challenge, asking for everyone's help to surpass his mother. Once World Bazaar Rank is reached, Felix receives a new letter from his mother, again congratulating him on defeating her. As Zephyr Town's boom was inspiring both her and others around the world, she advises Felix to keep himself healthy and giving her admiration to her son. Choosing to honor these words, Felix and Diana declare that this would only be the beginning for Zephyr Town's bazaar.

After the credits, Felix and the Bazaar Review Board decide to start a local donation drive to help support other bazaars around the world.

• If the player selects the option to go home in the beginning of the game, Felix will mistake them for a tourist and will see them off before sulking in disappointment. Afterwards, he will remain waiting at the bazaar grounds for the "new farmer", considering multiple theories but remaining hopeful that "they will come eventually". The game then ends with the player being returned to the main menu.
  • In the original Grand Bazaar, instead of saying that they're going home immediately, the player can remark that bazaar work seems boring. This results in repeating dialogue from Felix asking the player to take the job anyway until they finally accept.
