Louis (ルーン Rūn? lit. Rune) is one of the eligible bachelors in Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.
Louis initially came to the village because of his liking for fireworks, and the player will meet him at the Fireworks Festival. He will later move in to the Junk Shop after it gets an expansion. He comes off as blundering, awkward, and a little shy, but he's also very nice.
Like Ann, he loves mining and inventions.

Moving Out[]
Once Louis has permanently moved into the Junk Shop, he may knock on the player's door one morning to inform them that he is leaving. In order for Louis to move back into town, the player must ship different types of ores through the shipping box.

Heart Events[]
2-Heart Gift
Louis will come to your door as you leave in the morning (regardless of which gender you're playing as) when he reaches two hearts.
He will give you a piece of Silver Ore, and you will also get note the "Shy Guy" note.
5-Heart Gift
Louis will come with a second gift at 5 hearts, if you are playing as a female character.
Louis will knock on your door in the morning and present you with a jar of caffeine, as well as the recipe to make it.
Wedding[]
After meeting all marriage requirements and receiving a Blue Feather, the player will be able to propose.
Which ever character you're proposing to must have a minimum of 8 hearts. If they accept the Blue Feather, the wedding will take place the following day (unless the following day is a festival). The wedding will take up one full day.
Rival[]
In Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, each bachelor and bachelorette can be paired off to what is considered as the main character's rival.
Each rival couple has one heart event between them, but they will never marry (similar to Grand Bazaar). You must have 4 hearts with your rival (the person of same gender), and the marriage candidate must have less than 4 hearts.
Lyla is your rival for Louis, and their event takes place inside Hearty Lyla.
Musical Note[]
Getting Louis to 2 hearts will initiate a scene of him coming to your house and giving you a Silver Ore as a gift. Afterward, you will receive the "Shy Guy Note".
