The Firefly Festival is a holiday in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade celebrated on Summer 7 to remember ancestors who have long passed by floating lanterns down river and watching the fireflies. The festival will start at 6pm and end at 11pm, but you can talk to villagers before that.

When a marriage candidate is at 3 (three) hearts or more, you can ask them for the festival on Summer 6. They will meet you at 7pm the next day. There will be an event that plays as the couple watch lanterns floating down the river on Flute Fields.
If you have married, you can meet with your family at the festival. Your spouse will bring any grown-up children with them and meet you at 7pm for the event. You do not need to manually walk your family to the festival for the event to be seen. However, if you want to get a picture taken by Simon, you must walk with them. The event will end at 11pm.
There are no shops set up at the Firefly Festival, but Simon is available to take photos for 100 G. Ruth, Phoebe, Hamilton, Perry, Mira, and Bo can be seen at the festival.
