Fishing (Dor)

Fishing is a gameplay feature in Doraemon: Story of Seasons.

There are many variants of fish you can catch depending on the season and weather. You can buy fish bait at Sandy's Tackle Shop to increase the chance caught rare fish. Sometimes your bait will be snagged when the fish take a long time to spawn, and you will get item like Building Stone, Weed, Wood, or Groundbait/Fine Groundbait or even better the Gems (Splosh Lake and Land Fishing Rod only).

When you try to go fishing, the fish will only spawn for 3 times. To reset it, you need to take a nap.

For time efficiency, try to take a nap for 30 seconds. For example: If you take a nap at 10:25, you will wake up at 11:00, but if you try take a nap at 10:31, you will wake up at 12:00.

Fish Info

Some fishes required specific weather (which is very rare) to available to get caught and it occured not for a long time, it is easier to use Land Fishing Rod instead.

Land Fishing Rod is one of Doraemon's gadget you can buy from Koropokkur using 200 Junk, allow you to fishing on the land anywhere anytime. Has a chance to snagged a gems.

Spring

No legendary fish you can caught in summer. When Cloudy occurred, try to use this chance to fishing Large Char.

Stormy Day (heavy rain with strong wind and lightning) occur last about 3 hours. Make sure to use this chance to try fishing the shark.

Fish Guidebook+

New Update introduces rare type of sea creature with some kind of odd looking shape we rarely seen or a prehistoric extinct dinosaurus. You can buy a fish statue for Coelacant, Anomalocaris, Umbrella Octo and Bathynomus at Pent. Anomalocaris, Hallucigenia and Dunkleosteus has high price. Opabinia has highest price from all.
