Fishing is an activity that the player can unlock by completing the event Billy Borrows your Hammer in Harvest Moon GBC3.
After gaining the fishing rod from Billy, the player can fish up to 100 fish a day. The player can cast in any source of open water and the fish you catch is dependent on the spot where you are fishing.
Aside from fish, in all locations the player may fish up trash (such as boots or cans). These items do not exist in your inventory and have no effect on gameplay.
