Fishing (ToT)

Fishing in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, like many other Harvest Moon games, is a good source of income. There are several places to fish, including a river, a lake, an ocean, a cave, even an island.

Fishing Locations[]

River (Upstream): Found at Caramel Falls in front of Secret Cave in the north east region of Caramel River District.
River (Midstream): Found at north east region of Caramel River District next to Hilltop Plot. It's located from Caramel Falls entrance to Bridge that connects to Seaside Plot and Mountain Plot.
River (Downstream): Found at south region of Caramel River District near Town Plot and next to Seaside Plot. It's located from below the Bridge to Waffle Town Ocean.
Waffle Town Ocean: Found at Waffle Town and south region of Caramel River District anywhere there is a sand.
Maple Lake: Located at the center of Maple Lake District near Ben's Tree.
Toucan Island: Located at separated area which need to ask Pascal in On the Hook to fish there.
Ganache Mine Lake: In Ganache Mine Floor 30, there's a large lake where you can fish a worth fish like King Fish.
West Gull Island: One of two separated island that is located far from Waffle Island. This island is home for squirrel and it's not available in the beginning. To unlock West Gull Island, you must complete Daren's Rainbow.
East Gull Island: One of two separated island that is located far from Waffle Island. This island is home for penguin and it's not available in the beginning. To unlock East Gull Island, you must complete Collin's Rainbow.
Goddess Spring: Located at Harvest Goddess Spring in Mt. Gelato. It's not available in the beginning. To unlock it, you must complete Ben's Rainbow and befriend with bear until the bear lets you go to Goddess Spring.
Secret Cave: As the name is secret, found inside a cave near River (Upstream). It is accessible after completing the main story.

Fish[]

This is a list of fish, where they can be found, the price when sold, the season they can be caught in, and their rarity level, taking into account factors such as availability, skill, tool upgrades, and even luck:

1 - easily catchable with the lowest-level rod; very common
2 - fairly catchable with the lowest-level rod; common
3 - a little challenging to catch, but manageable, especially from an upgraded rod; uncommon
4 - requires high-level rod and good reaction time; rare
5 - requires high-level rod and great reaction time; special condition(s) associated with it; very rare
