Garmon Mine District[]
The path leading to the Garmon Mine district is directly behind your house. At the beginning of the game you have to help Bo rebuild the bridge that restricted access to the area. There is also a minecart beside the church that will take you to the district. The shops in the district are industrial, and you can buy items for your house, upgrade your tools, and purchase jewelry here.
The shops in the mining district are closed on Thursdays and festival days.
Carpenter's[]
The Carpenter's Shop is open from 8am to 8pm.
The shop is run by Dale with his apprentices, Bo and Luke. You are able to purchase house and barn remodels, as well as furniture for you house here.
The shop is upgraded to level 2 when you ring the Blue Bell.
It is upgraded to level 3 when you ship at least 300,000 G and unlock Luke.
It is upgraded to level 4 when you ship at least 500,000 G.
General Store[]
Hours: 8am to 8pm (20:00)
The General Store is upgraded to Level 2 when you ship at least 40,000 G and find Phoebe.
It is upgraded to Level 3 when you ship at least 120,000 G.
It is upgraded to Level 4 when you ship at least 300,000 G.
Barbara runs the store. Her husband, Simon, and daughter, Phoebe, live there as well. Simon runs the photography studio in Harmonica Town. Phoebe is unlocked after you ring the Red Bell and enter the Garmon Upper Mine.
The store sells cooking utensils and various household accessories.
Accessory Store[]
Hours: 8am to 8pm (20:00)
The Accessory Store is run by Mira. At the beginning of the game, the Accessory Store is not open, and will not open until you have spoken with Julius and confronted Mira about re-opening the Accessory Store.
You are able to refine ore and wonderfuls in the Accessory Store, as well as make the refined material into jewelry for yourself or as a gift.
Blacksmith[]
Hours: 8am to 8pm (20:00)
The Blacksmith is run by Ramsey. His grandson, Owen, and granddaughter, Chloe, live with him in the shop, and Owen is Ramsey's apprentice. Ramsey is able to upgrade your tools, but you are unable to do so until you ring the Red Bell. Ramsey is only able to upgrade tools with refined metals.
