Doesn't Komari have the cutest hairstyle? Even the hairdresser'll go on an' on about how silky smooth her hair is. Komari says she likes it short 'cause it's easier to take care of, but as her father, I kinda want to see her grow it out some more. |

I'll usually only write a line or three, but I make sure to write in it daily. You won't find many fathers who care for their daughters as much as I do! |

Komari's always been an active girl. As a kid, she'd play with the boys, an' then come home well after dark all covered in mud. She'd get scrapes and bruises all the time, too. Geez, were those bad for my heart! She never cried over them much, but I sure did! |

The first time I visited Tsuyukusa, I fell head over heels in love with it's beautiful scenery. Getting to run my own shop here is great! Now I wanna do what I can to have other people come and learn what a great place this is. |

Shizu's more than just a pretty face. She's smart, good natured, and a competent worker. Ittetsu's real lucky to be married to her. She even gives me a hand with my chores as town elder. With her help, all that paperwork is easy-peasy! |

Moriya an' I can talk for hours! Komari's a bit intimidated by him, though, given his stern looks an' attitude. He's just no-nonsense about his work, is all. He's got plenty of good points! Uhh...tact ain't one of them, though. |

Yuzuki has a real nice, gentle smile, don't he? That's thanks to the upbringing Umekichi and Omiyo gave him. Then you add those looks of his, and it's no wonder he's got a secret fan club. Not that the man himself has noticed yet. |
