The Harvest Goddess is a character from almost every single Harvest Moon game that came before LoB. In this game she is the goddess who protects the land that you and the other villagers reside on. She lives in the spring in the mountains and has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Her outfit is almost exactly the same as in many DS Harvest Moon Games, the only difference being her red flower-belt.
She will appear to you through the help of Aaron & Alice the harvest sprites.

Harvest Goddess: For a confession of love to succeed, you need the other person's affection
and a ring
. The person's affection is shown by the color of the heart displayed when you talk to them. As you get to know them better the color changes: Gray, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Your confession of love has a chance of success if the heart color is blue or higher.
