Hayden (ハーパー Hāpā, lit. Harper) is a character in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.

Hayden is the owner of the Brass Bar. He makes drinks, while Chase cooks for the customers, and his daughter, Kathy waitresses. He also later employs Selena at his bar after the Blue Bell is rung to dance and entertain the customers. In the beginning of the game, Hayden is somewhat depressed that his business isn't as booming as he would like. Once you ring the Red Bell, however, fire will return to the land and the Brass Bar will operate as per usual.

He's protective of his daughter, but is a very nice guy. He enjoys serving customers at the Bar, and the company he receives. During the evening hours when the Brass Bar is open, Hayden will always be behind the desk serving drinks or cleaning glasses. In the day time, Hayden can sometimes be found in Harmonica Town just outside of the Brass Bar in nice weather. He's easy to befriend, as you can buy cocktails from the bar and then give them to Hayden.

Hayden's only major role in the game is when he employs Selena at his bar. Selena will ask that you deliver a letter to her parents. Hayden is there to support her, telling the player that Selena is well taken care of, and to ease her parent's worries.
