Your house is where you live in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town .
In the beginning, your house is a relatively small and bare home, but upgrades and furniture pieces will become available later on to make your house more home-like and better to live in. Once your house has been furnished and upgraded, you can also get married and move your spouse in with you.
Expansions[]
You can expand your house twice if you speak to Gotz , the local lumberjack and carpenter. Benefits of expanding your house include special items that only appear on the Shopping Channel once your house is a certain size, and the second house expansion is a requirement for marriage, if you hope to marry a girl in the game.
First Expansion
The first house expansion will cost you 3000 G and 200 pieces of lumber. You can obtain the lumber either by chopping stumps and branches with your axe, or buying it from Gotz for 50 G each.
Second Expansion
The second house expansion will cost 10,000 G and 700 pieces of wood

Other Upgrades[]
Bathroom Once your house has been expanded to its full extent, you can go to Gotz, and in his list of services offered, you should see an option to build a bathroom. This will cost you 30,000 G and 580 pieces of lumber.
The bathroom acts like a spa; it does the same thing as the Hot Spring. 30 minutes will pass when you use the bathroom, and you will replenish some stamina and fatigue.
Redesigns[]
When you have bought all upgrades from Gotz, you can choose to remodel some physical aspects of your home. These do not upgrade or cause them to function differently; it is purely a change of looks, if you have gold to spare.
