Howard is a villager native to Bluebell Town in Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns.

Howard's appearance may seem intimidating. Although a very tall and burly woman, the reality is that he wouldn't hurt a fly! He is nowhere near harmful, given his appearance. He is a very sweet man, who is always overflowing with positive energy.

He lives and works at the Bluebell Cafe with his daughter Laney. He also offers a room to Cam who lives at the Cafe (although he does not work there). On days that the Cafe is open, Howard will always be found here, hard at work. On Thursdays when the Cafe is closed, he will take a stroll through Bluebell Town and also visits Town Hall. To marry Laney, befriending Cam as well as her father is crucial.

If the character starts out living in Bluebell, Howard will give the player a Cooking Pot. He also has requests for the message board in Bluebell. Interestingly enough, he also has a secret diary that the character can read. By going to the upper floor of the Cafe, you can find the pink bedroom (which, by the way, is Howard's), and examining the bed will allow you to read his diary.

Some of Howard's favorite gifts are flowers and perfumes. Teas and juices are also a good choice. Luckily, the Cafe is located near Cam's flower shop, making it easy to find a gift for Howard. There are also flowers available to forage in the mountains which can also be given to Howard.
