Iori (イオリ, Iori^?) is a character in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town.

Iori is a young man who lives with his retainer, Dosetsu. He came from an island far away and was once something similar to a duke. Throughout the events, it is discovered that Iori needed to get away from his responsibilities and left for Olive Town to escape.

Although used to living a life of luxury before moving to Olive Town, Iori is polite and gentle to all, always addressing people formally. He is also kind to animals and loves nature.

He has a talent and passion for fishing. Can often be seen fishing off of the dock on the town's beach and is a competitor in the yearly Fishing Tournament.

Summary		As you give Iori the Confession Pendant, he will take you to his house. Iori tells Dosetsu that you have confessed your love to him and he loves you too. He asks him for his thoughts on it. Dosetsu says Iori's decision is good but, hinting his status, asks if it is appropriate in his current situation. He tells him that he left his country and therefore his status doesn't matter. Dosetsu asks for forgiveness and tells him he has no objection, then Iori asks if you are okay with him being around when you and Iori meet up. Iori forbids him which leads to discussion, ending with Iori requesting Dosetsu to bless the relationship.

Summary		When you enter Iori's house, he tells you he just made some tea and asks you to drink with him. The two sit down together and Iori tells you that making tea is a big thing in his country. He continues with a story of a famous tea maker.

Summary		You are sitting at a table with Iori, who stells you that a ninja is trying to kill him. You can choose between 'What' or 'I knew it'. He tells you that back in his country he had a conflict regarding the heritage of his family. He flew to Olive town because of this. He doesn't want to go back but explains that there are people that don't even want the option of him coming back. So they send a hitman. He is not scared but doesn't want to see you getting hurt. Right in this moment, he hears a sound and says that he has to settle this now. Instead of a Ninja, there is a cat. Iori: My life is being sought after by a ninja.

Summary		The mayor comes up to you and asks you to call Iori to the forest. You can then choose to say 'okey', 'why don't you go by yourself' or 'are you the killer'. Answers 2 and 3 lead back to the question even tho it changes the dialog later on. Since its not the real mayor you do not have to fear losing friendship points there by asking if he is the murder. You tell Iori and get to the forest together. Iori is attacked by a venomous snake. The Ninja appears and Iori seems to know him. The Ninja tells him that he has mercy on Iori and leaves alone him from now on.
