Jarvis (モノトーン Monotōn? lit. Monotone) is a character appearing in Harvest Moon: My Little Shop.
Although Jarvis eventually serves as a customer, once he has grown confident in the town's future, he plays a much bigger role as the mayor of Clover Town.
Jarvis is a longtime resident of Clover Town, having lived in town for ten years and been the mayor for five. Initially, he is quite distressed by the town's plummeting economy and is at a loss about how he should try to fix it. After the player has worked at his or her shop for a while, he will become more optimistic about the town's future. He will begin to help out by arranging festivals that the town used to hold many years ago.
He's a rather tense and jittery person, as evidenced by his worries about the town earlier on and his fear of going to Happy Tower at night.
