Joanna (ジョアンナ Joan'na?) is an unseen character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.
She is the daughter of Mugi and absent mother of Mei. She left Mineral Town for an unknown reason and only returned one time - to drop off her young daughter and then leave without a word. It's unknown when exactly this occurred, but it can be presumed it was when Mei was older because she remembers her mother well.
She's described as a headstrong woman who uusually keeps things to herself but the player never get to actually meet her. Instead, they learn about her through phonecalls between her and her father.
