John (ジャン Jan?) is a minor character in Harvest Moon 64. He is the young son of Manna.
In the Winter of Year One, Doug will bring Manna to the player and ask them to keep her cows on their farm to care for them for a few days while they negotiate a deal. The player will need to watch the cows from the 1st of Winter until the 5th. If they do a good job taking care with the cows, Doug will pay for the player for their troubles.
While they player is watching Manna's cows, John will come to watch the player do farm work during the five days they are in town. He is very shy and rarely speaks, except to say goodbye when he and his mother leave.
