Kappa (かっぱ Kappa?) is a minor character in Harvest Moon 64.
The Kappa is a type of water sprite living in the pond by the fisherman's tent. If the player throws a particular sized fish into the pond between the hours of 9am-5pm, he will come up and give a couple different Power Nuts.
- If the player throws in a large fish, the Kappa will give a regular Power Nut.
- If the player throws in a small/medium fish, the Kappa will give a Blue Power Nut.
- It is important to note that the Blue Power Nut does nothing. It was supposed to half the player's fatigue gain rate. However, due to a game developer flaw, the normal Power Nut will both increase the player's stamina and bestow this ability.
