Mark (マーク Māku? lit. Mark) is the protagonist and playable character in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition. Mark is his canon name, but he is named by the player during each playthrough.
Mark is a young man who decides to take over his father's farm after his death. His father's friend, Takakura sent a letter to Mark requesting that he come to Forget-Me-Not Valley. Although Mark doesn't know much about farming, Takakura agrees to help run the farm alongside Mark.
Appearance[]
In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition, Mark's clothing color will change each season. Players don't have to buy new outfits from Van and they can't control what color the clothing he changes to. The change will happen on the first day of each season.
Like all of the other characters in the game, Mark will also age as time goes on in the game, most notably in the final chapter. He will have gray hair and wrinkles.
Story[]
Mark travels to Forget-Me-Not Valley and takes over his father's farm. At the end of the first year, he will be married to either Celia, Nami, Muffy, or Lumina. In the next few years, his only child is born and the three live together in their log cabin.
Trivia[]
- If you have not connected Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town to Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Mark's name will appear on a gravestone located near the Barney Circus grounds in Harvest Moon: DS.
- He is shown to grow a mustache in some of his artworks, but did not grow in the game as he ages in the final chapter with only gray hair and wrinkles.
