Matsuba retains his old roles as judge for the seasonal crop shows. Matsuba will only accept crops grown in the current season, and his comments on the player's submission may indicate how well they performed. Winning Crop Shows in the Bronze and Silver Ranks will increase the maximum quality of submitted crop and their rarified variants while winning the Gold rank gives that crop the branding rating, dramatically increasing their raw selling price.
Outside the Crop Show, Matsuba may randomly appear in the weekly bazaar.
