Matthew (マッシュ, Masshu^? lit. Mash) is one of the four bachelors that the player can choose to marry in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

Vesta's sullen younger brother who works on a farm. At worst he's cynical. Either way, he seems to be very shy around people. Years before the protagonist moved to Forgotten Valley (SoSAWL), Matthew got sick and couldn't work, winding up in the valley. His condition only improves slightly in the years he lives there and he worries it might never improve.

His diary is located on his bedside table on the first floor of his home.
