File:Mining Meet (TWoA).jpg

The Mining Meet occurs every season on the 19th, and is a competition where you must gain points by mining various rarities of ores. In order to unlock this festival, you must have completed Herbstburg's storyline and completed Tori's quest to revive the festival.

Once the day begins, to get the contest started, go to the Herbstburg town square and talk to Tori anytime between 10am and 6pm. She will have the player pick which class they wish to participate in. In the contest, the player must race against the clock (3 minutes) to gather as many points as possible.

Tips[]

  • Bring plenty of cooked meals. If you don't have any, they will be sold right outside the mine before beginning your run.
  • Try to reach the next floor as soon as possible. Mine around until you find the ladder, then head down again - focus your time only on locations closest to the ladder if possible. The deeper the floor, the easier it seems to be to find higher point-value items.
    • If you hit a roadblock or aren't quickly finding the ladder, consider using pitfalls to reach deeper floors if you have enough stamina to spare.
