Pete is the main protagonist and playable character in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature.
In the game's prologue, Pete can be seen taking vacations to visit his grandfather in the summertime. After his grandfather dies, Pete will move to Mineral Town to work on his grandfather's farm. He will have three years to improve the state of the farm.
