This article is about Pete, a character from Harvest Moon GBC 3. You may be looking for Pete in his other appearances throughout the series.

Pete (ピート Pito?) is the male player character in Harvest Moon GBC 3.

If Pete is chosen as the main character, he starts on his farm in Flower Bud Village after successfully reviving it and is trying to find another goal in his life. One day a man named Heinz shows up and states that a friend of his who ran a farm has recently passed away. His friend's daughter Sara is trying to take the farm over but knows nothing about farming. Heinz asks that Pete come to the island to help Sara with the farm.

Playing as Pete[]

Pete and Sara have different farming abilities. Pete is much better at fieldwork and taking care of crops while Sara is much better at caring for animals.

If the player is playing as Sara and weds Pete, the game will end. However, if Pete is chosen as the main character and the player marries Sara, the game will continue.

Tools[]

Pete and Sara both have access to different tools and have different starting sets. Pete will start with the following tools and may purchase and unlock other tools later on in the game.

  • Sickle
  • Hoe
  • Axe
  • Hammer
  • Watering Can
  • Miracle Glove

Unlike Sara, Pete can upgrade his main tools by using them. When the game starts, all tools that can be upgraded start at level one and the player will have to use the tools to get them to a max of level three. The higher the level, the less uses it takes to accomplish a task. Leveled tools may also be charged up, by holding down the A button, to make it stronger.

If the player resonds with Good! Pete will be happy and explain Rose, from his hometown, taught him how to make it.

However, if the player resonds with ........ Pete will be disappointed and explain it's his first try at making this and he hopes it doesn't make Sara more sick.

Answering positively will let the player know he has already achieved his goal of reviving his grandfather's farm. However, replying negatively will have him statinf he forgot. Either way Pete will end by saying he needs to think up a new goal.

Discovering Pete's Dream

This will take place a season after the "Pete's Dream" event.

After work Pete will stop the player and say that they need to talk. He still hasn't found his dream and thinks he should leave the island to do so.

If the player allows Pete to go to find his dream they will encounter a bad ending when Sara realizes the farm is too hard to handle alone.
