Sabrina (セフィーナ, Sefīna^?) is an eligible bachelorette in Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands.

The daughter of the millionaire Regis, Sabrina has a good business sense, although she's not outgoing enough to use it. She is quiet, shy, and enjoys solitary activities like reading. She's the bookkeeper and secretary for her father's company and is a very intelligent young woman.

Although shy at first, Sabrina will open up once you befriend her. She has an interest in mining and will be impressed by beautiful gems and jewels. She also helps her father organize the Mining Festival each year. Although she spends most of her days inside, she likes to get fresh air on Sprout Island and will visit the church when Mystic Island is raised.

Heart Events

Purple Heart Event

Enter the mansion anytime Sabrina is inside when she has a purple heart minimum to see her first event.

You find Sabrina looking lost inside the library. Regis has asked her to find something, but there are simply too many books for her to look through! You offer to help Sabrina search. Sabrina feels guilty asking, but would really appreciate the help.

Sabrina keeps looking while you search a different spot in the library. Before long, you find the book in the back of the library. Sabrina is impressed that it was found so quickly and thanks you for helping.

Blue Heart Event

Enter the mansion anytime Sabrina is inside and has a blue heart minimum. Her first heart event must have been seen previously.

Charlie and Eliza are upstairs playing. Sabrina explains that she met the two children a few days ago and invited them to come and visit. She's now concerned that they are being too careless and might break something! Sabrina is having a difficult time talking to the kids herself.

You step in and ask the kids to be more careful. They both apologize to Sabrina for causing trouble. She accepts their apology and gets the kids set up to play a board game instead.

Green Heart Event

Walk onto Sprout Island on a sunny day between 10am and 1pm when Sabrina has a green heart minimum. This event can also be seen between 4pm and 7pm if the Mystic Islands have not been raised. Her first two events must have already been seen previously.

Sabrina is on the beach shore, looking out towards the ocean. She tells you to look out and see the island that's floating out there! Sabrina explains that the island is actually a mirage. She's very excited that she's been able to see this with her very own eyes.

Express excitement and Sabrina will tell you that this is a rare occasion, meaning that it is going to be a wonderful day. She thinks to herself how happy she is to have seen the mirage with you.

Yellow Heart Event

Sabrina's last event will take place automatically as you enter your farmhouse between 10am and 5pm on any sunny day, as long as Sabrina has a yellow heart minimum and all previous heart events have been watched.

Sabrina asks if you'd like to go out with her while the weather is so nice outside. You take Sabrina to Volcano Island. She is excited to see lava up close! Sabrina confesses that her father has forbidden her to ever come here. He thinks it is too dangerous for her. Sabrina doesn't understand why it's too dangerous for her, but not for you or her father. Sabrina doesn't necessarily disagree with her father, but it makes her sad to feel excluded. She is happy that you were here to accompany her and keep her safe. She thanks you for bringing her and is excited to tell her father about the trip later. She hopes that the two of you can go out again sometime.

This event will automatically end at 6pm and you will be brought back to the farmhouse.

Proposal

It is possible to propose marriage using the Blue Feather once certain conditions have been met. You must have the Husband/Wife bed inside your house, and watched all heart events with your chosen marriage candidate, with them having a red heart. Additionally, Mystic Islands must be raised and the Goddess must be spoken to once by throwing a gift into her spring.

The Blue Feather can be purchased from Chen's shop once any marriage candidate reaches an orange heart color. If all conditions have been met, the feather will be accepted.

Wedding

Your wedding will be set for a week after an accepted proposal. The wedding date will be pushed forward a day if the wedding day lands on a festival day, a typhoon, or a blizzard.

You will automatically wake up on the day of your wedding and go to the church for the ceremony. The wedding lasts the entire day and you will be unable to do any of your daily farm work either before or after the ceremony. Afterwards, you will wake up the following day back at the farmhouse with your spouse. They will ask you what you wish to be called now that you're married.

Rival Events

1st Rival Event

Enter Sprout Island via Verdure Island on a clear day from 10am and 1pm in Year 2 or later. It must be a Monday or Tuesday when Vaughn is in town. Vaughn or Sabrina must have a black heart.

Vaughn notices Sabrina dropping something as she's walking by. He picks up the pendant and notices that the chain is broken. He asks Sabrina if she's going to fix the chain, but she admits that she doesn't know how. She would normally ask her father, but he doesn't know she has the pendant and so she can't ask him. Vaughn offers to help and quickly fixes it right there on the spot! The pendant is an important keepsake of her mother and Sabrina thanks him for helping her.

2nd Rival Event

Go to Meadow Island on a clear day between 8pm and 10pm on a Monday or Tuesday when Vaughn is in town. It must be Year 3 or later and Sabrina or Vaughn must be at a green heart color or less. Alternatively, the event can be seen at any affection level if the player is married. The first event must have already been seen.

Sabrina finds Vaughn on Meadow Island and says that she's brought him donuts to try! Vaughn can't understand why Sabrina always does things for him and protests. Sabrina insists and Vaughn gives in. After trying one, Vaughn admits that they're perfect! Sabrina enjoys making sweets and remembers that her mother taught her how to do lots of things. Vaughn thinks that Sabrina's mother sounds nice and wonders what that must be like. He doesn't say anything else and Sabrina decides not to push.

Rival Proposal

Enter Regis' mansion between 6am and 10am on a Monday or Tuesday. Sabrina or Vaughn must be at an orange heart color or less. Alternatively, the event can be seen at any affection level if the player is married. The first event must have already been seen. It must be Year 4 or later and both rival events must have already been watched.

Vaughn has come to visit and wants to tell Sabrina something. Regis notices Vaughn's arrival and asks Sabrina if he is her guest. Vaughn is glad that Regis is here, because he wants to ask for Sabrina's hand in marriage! Both Regis and Sabrina are surprised. Sabrina happily accepts the proposal, but Regis objects. He doesn't think Vaughn is good enough for his daughter. Sabrina is upset by this but Vaughn remains determined. He vows to Regis that he will do anything to get his approval and that he would never force Sabrina's hand. Regis can see how much Vaughn cares for his daughter and finally gives his blessing.

Rival Wedding

Rival weddings take place a week after the proposal event. The wedding date will be pushed forward a day if the wedding day lands on a festival day, a typhoon, or a blizzard.

On the morning of a rival wedding, the bride (if playing as Chelsea) or groom (if playing as Mark) will come over to invite you to the wedding. You will go to the church for the ceremony. The wedding lasts the entire day and you will be unable to do any of your daily farm work either before or after the ceremony. After the wedding is over, you will be brought back to the farmhouse the following day.

Vaughn will move into the mansion to live with Sabrina. He is now on the island seven days a week.

Trivia

• If you have 7 hearts with Sabrina, she will give you a present if you speak to her on your birthday. There are three different presents available, depending on the year. She will give you either a Ruby (Year 1), an Amethyst (Year 2) or an Emerald (Year 3). These gifts will continue in a set rotation every three years.
  • If your birthday is before the Mining Festival, save the gem given to you by Sabrina for the festival. The quality is high enough to win first place!
