A sheep is a type of animal that can be purchased and raised in many Harvest Moon titles. They were introduced in Harvest Moon 2 for the Game Boy Color.
General Information
Sheep are usually easier to take care of than cows. They cost less Gold, have two life cycles as opposed to three, and require less maintenaince. Unlike cows, who produce milk every day if happy, a sheep will normally take a week or even up to ten days to grow a full coat of wool. Sheep require daily brushing and talking to, and weekly trims. When bought, they are still young and take about 2 weeks to mature. Like cows, sheep can be impregnated by use of Miracle Potion.� Gestation takes about one season.� In Harvest Moon: DS, the sheep's� average lifespan is 3-5 years.
