Sheep are a livestock animal that appear in Harvest Moon GBC 3.
Sheep can be purchased from the Farmer's Union after the player has six full plots of grass in the yard. While purchasing, the player can choose between males or females - both of which can be sheared for wool. They will live in the fourth barn over with a max of eight sheep - or four to each room.
Stages[]
Lamb
Lambs are sheep who have not yet fully matured and cannot be sheared or sold. However, with proper love and care, they will grow into an adult. All lambs bought from the Farmer's Market or bred from two sheep are at this stage.
It takes 22 days a lamb to fully mature into a sheep.
Adult Sheep
Mature sheep can be sheared, using clippers, every 7 days so long as they are healthy and happy. Ig the player if female they must purchase clippers and if the player is male they must instruct their partner to do "M-E-W" or "Anything". Any adult sheep can be sold for 3000G to the farmer's union.
Pregnant Sheep
A healthy adult male and female sheep can be paired in a breeding pen to impregnate the female - they will remain in the pen for a day and, if not bred, will be in a bad mood.
Once pregnant, a female will not be able to be shaved for wool and cannot be sold. They will remain pregnant and must be cared for as normal for (?) days until the lamb is born.
Care[]
In order to keep any sheep happy and healthy, they require careful attention. Sheep must be cleaned using shampoo daily to keep their wool clean. Shampoo can be purchased from the Farmer's Market by Sara but there is a bug where Pete cannot get shampoo and, thus, will never be able to shear his sheep. They must also be fed by placing fodder in the feeders every day. They can also be let outside into the pastures by talking to them and will eat mature grass if left outside overnight - however, you need to own a dog and the weather must be sunny the next day, or the sheep will become unhappy.
If sheep are not fed for four days they will grow ill and will require medicine. If you do not treat them, they will die three days later from the illness.

Aside from wool, certain products can be made in machines to increase the selling price of it. After shipping enough wool, the player can purchase two makers for 30000G apiece and they will automatically appear in your sheep barn.
