Sheep are a farm animal in Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

Baby sheep can be purchased from Blue Sky Ranch and will be delivered to your barn. They eat hay (which is purchased from Blue Sky Ranch) or grass that can be grown outside during the spring summer, and fall. Every few days as an adult they will grow wool which can be harvested by using the shears.

An adult sheep is capable of producing Wool once after seven days when using a pair of shears. The quality of the Wool is determined by the Sheep's affection level effecting the percentage (it has a chance of being better if you brushed it first and if you won the sheep festival).

Yarn[]
With a Lvl 2 Barn, Micheal will sell the yarn maker for 4000G or it can be won at a sheep festival. The yarn maker can convert wool into yarn and is more profitable than wool.

You can also buy a dye pot for the barn for 500 G from the Junk Shop. Using it you can combine yarn with various herbs and flowers to make colored yarn. The colored yarn sells for a lot more than the normal versions, and you can turn any quality of yarn into its high-profit version.
