| Summary |
Cindy: I hate you, Grandpa! Simon: Hey now! Is that any way to speak to your Grandpa, little lady?! Simon: Oh, a customer. Sorry you had to see that. Simon: My granddaughter had a spat with her mother, so she came to get me on her side, but... Simon: I refused to take one side or the other, and, well... You saw what happened. Simon: They're fighting over the most ridiculous little thing. Simon: at each other's throats over who left the mayonnaise jar open. Simon: I can't very well let her be, so I'm going after her. Would you be willin' to come with me? Simon: What are you doing here, Cindy? Cindy: Grandpa... Simon: "The sand on the beach may disappear, but the frolicking crabs never will." Cindy: What's that mean? Simon: It's a poem someone wrote long ago. I thought it fit your mood right now. Cindy: Oh... Simon: I'm goin' to buy some sweets from the café. D'you want to pick them out, Cindy? Cindy: You'll let me?! Do I get to pick Mom's out too? Simon: You sure do. And if hate her that much, you can get her the tiniest little treat you can find. Cindy: Oooh! Great idea Simon: Or you could pick a tasty one and share a bite with her. Cindy: Oh... Then I could try two different ones. Simon: It's all up to you. Come on. Cindy: Okay! Cindy: By the way, what's [Player] doing here. Simon: S/he's just keepin' us company. I reckon we should get one for her, too, since s/he came all this way. Would you pick one out, Cindy? Cindy: Sure! Leave it to me! Simon: Well, we've done our shopping. Time to head back. Cindy: Yeah! | ||||||
