The Protagonist (主人公 Protagonist?) is the playable main character in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. He is fully nameable by the player.
The protagonist is a young man who decides to take over his father's farm after his death. His father's friend, Takakura sent a letter to Shion requesting that he come to Forgotten Valley. Although Shion doesn't know much about farming, Takakura agrees to help run the farm alongside the protagonist.
In the first year he will get married to any of the available Bachelors or Bachelorettes and then the game will skip ahead a few years to raising your child into adulthood.
