As the player progresses through the game, certain events or interactions will unlock one or more of the 12 available skills in the Notebook menu, indicated by a notification appearing in the corner of the screen. Skills represent the player's mastery of the jobs they may undertake while pioneering or operating the farm.
Leveling up[]
Performing certain activities associated with a skill will allow the player to level up, which is tracked in the Notebook. Leveling up skills will unlock new crafting recipes and traits such as improved yields, product quality, reduced energy costs, or other associated boosts. Once unlocked, players can view the "Obtainable Traits" and "Obtainable Recipes" associated with that level by navigating to the "Notebook → Skills" and selecting the desired skill.

- Solid Logs will only be found in Farm Area 2, excluding the area for normal Logs.
