Soseki (センゴク Sengoku) is character in Harvest Moon 3DS: A New Beginning. He is one of the eligible bachelors to court.

Soseki was a reporter, but when there was an accident at his last job, he quit. He now lives in town to live a peaceful life. He is constantly worried about his health and comes across as a hypochondriac. Although still young, he still refers to himself as an old man and may need some convincing if you want to date him.

Heart Events

Black Heart Event
To get this event, the female player has to walk from the Village Area to the River Area, any day with sunny weather between 6 AM to 5 PM. Soseki has to have 5000 Friendship Points or more and you will need a Fishing Rod in your rucksack.

Purple Heart Event
To get this event, the female player must be at Klaus' House by 7PM to 9PM, on any day except Tuesday or Friday. Soseki has a purple heart color or higher and you have seen the Black Heart Event.

Confession Event
You must give Soseki a Ring before you can see the rest of his heart events. The acceptance of a Ring is on Saturday or Sunday, sunny weather, between 9 AM and 11 PM. Soseki must be at blue heart color higher, and you already seen his Black and Purple Heart Events.

Reverse Confession Event
To trigger Soseki's reverse confession, the player must complete the confession event requirements, give him 100 or more gifts, have a Ring in your rucksack, and walk into his house with the same conditions (Saturday or Sunday, with Sunny weather, between 9 AM and 11 PM).

Soseki: Hi there, PLAYER. Thanks for coming. I've been waiting for you. Player: "?" Soseki: PLAYER, I've actually got something to talk with you about. Mind if we have a change of scenery? Follow me. To see this event, the female player must walk into house from 6 AM to 12 PM on any day with sunny weather. Soseki must have a yellow heart color or higher, and you already seen the Green Heart Event.
