Sue (スオウ Suō) is a character in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.
Sue lives with her family on Toucan Island. She manages the Pineapple Inn with her husband, Samson. Her daughter, Selena dreams of moving away to be a famous dancer. Sue is very protective of her daughter, and doesn't want her daughter to leave. Her husband has a different view on what it is Selena should do with her life, and it sometimes causes arguments between the couple.
Naturally, she is a huge fan of the ocean and fishing. She also loves cocktails, and if you are going to come to the island bringing gifts, they might be your best choice to work up her heart points quickly.
Because Sue lives on Toucan Island, she will never appear on Castanet. If you want to visit her, you will have to go to Toucan Island by using the ferry. She will also not be able to attend any festivals. If her daughter moves to Castanet, Sue will stay on Toucan Island to run the business with Samson.
Visit Sue and Samson during the winter time when they are at three or more hearts. Additionally, your fishing level must be at 3 or higher to see this event.
Sue and Samson will put forth a challenge. They figure that you're good with a fishing rod, and will ask you to catch them a Pacific Halibut. They cannot catch the fish near Toucan Island, as it's only a fish you can get on the mainland.
Pacific Halibut is one of the eight difficult King Fish. You must have a Silver Fishing Rod or better, and charge your rod up to a power level of 3 or 4. Pacific Halibut can be caught from the Lighthouse in Harmonica Town. Cast your line to the west of where it is that you can find the white cat near the lighthouse.
When you catch the halibut, bring it back to Samson and Sue. Samson's reward will be a Southern Sea Omelet Rice Recipe. Sue's reward will be a unique piece of furniture, a South Sea Seal Doll. It's a doll that you can put into your home as a decoration.
