To obtain a television in Story of Seasons, you must buy the television blueprint from Mistel's Antique Shop. It will become available after you have built the Decent Farmhouse. The materials required to build it are Black Lumber x12, Bottle x6, Iron x5, Glittering Stone x5, and Crystal x3.
Once you have placed the television in your house, you can watch three different channels: The Weather Forecast, Variety Channel, and Oak Tree Channel. The Weather Forecast, which is hosted by Lillie, will tell you about the weather for that day and the next day. The Variety channel features episodic stories similar to what real-life television might air. The Oak Tree Channel features a show with game tips that can be helpful for anyone, not just beginners to the game. There is also a show about farming that is hosted by Giorgio, and a show that is hosted by a character named Kassie, which focuses on stories about the townspeople.

Unlike the other channels, the Weather Forecast channel only has one show. However, it only needs one show to fulfill its purpose.
Variety Channel[]
The Variety Channel features a different show every day of the week. Wish Upon a Fairy is shown on Sundays, Murder at Black Gull Villa is shown on Mondays, Streets of the World is shown on Tuesdays, Search for the Legendary Chef! is shown on Wednesdays, Princess Lillia’s Adventure is shown on Thursdays, Mighty Munchin' Veggie Rangers is shown on Fridays, and Nature Sprite Tale is shown on Saturdays.
Oak Tree Channel[]
Oak Tree Channel features three shows: Oak Tree Times, Oak Tree Tips, and Giorgio's Gorgeous Farm Life. Oak Tree Times is shown on Sundays, Oak Tree Tips is shown on weekdays, and Giorgio's Gorgeous Farm Life is shown on Saturdays.
