Trent (トーレ Toure?) is a character in Harvest Moon DS and Harvest Moon DS: Cute, the latter of which he is marriageable.
Trent visits the valley every Wednesday when his clinic in Mineral Town is closed. The clinic's nurse Elli will accompany him. Dr. Trent likes to visit his colleague Hardy while in town. Because Trent only visits on Wednesday, it will take a long time to befriend him.

Heart Events[2][]
Black Heart Event
Walk towards the Goddess' pond between 3pm and 8pm on a sunny Wednesday to see Trent's black heart event.
Trent will ask if the player has come for a rest, as this area is a good place to relax. It is also healthy to have conversations with other people. He has noticed that many people come to visit the pond, and everyone in the valley is healthy. Trent becomes saddened by the fact that not everybody in the world is like that, as there are many who have incurable diseases or are physically handicapped. It is their job as doctors to help these people. If you tell him it is a splendid idea, Trent will thank you for your compliment.
Purple Heart Event
Walk into Dr. Hardy's clinic between 8:40am and 1pm on a sunny Wednesday. Trent has a purple heart or higher with his black love event having been viewed. Additionally, you have 60 fatigue points or less.
As the medical team welcomes you, Hardy later gets the idea that Trent and Elli might get tired if they study too hard, so perhaps the trio should go to the beach. Trent normally goes to the pond to relax, but he's willing to try something new. If you encourage them to go, Trent will agree with Elli convincing him to go.
On the beach, Trent likes how pretty and refreshing the it is. Lately, he has been using his Minus Ion (see MFoMT) with great, relaxing results. He asks if there are other good things for your body, so tell it is good to move. Back at the clinic, Trent thanks you for accompanying him.
Blue Heart Event
The same conditions apply as with the purple heart event, except Trent must be at a blue heart or higher with his purple love event having been viewed.
The medical team welcomes you to the clinic, although Hardy is actually on his way out. The doctor is heading off to Romana's. Elli wants to come along with him, so does Trent, but Hardy wants Trent to stay. Later, Trent asks what kind of things do you like and not like to eat. If you tell him you have complete meals, he will explain they are crucial.
Yellow Heart Event
The same conditions apply as with the purple and blue heart events, except Trent must be at a yellow heart or higher. Additionally, your fatigue
Hardy and Elli listen as Trent complains that it took a long time for him in order to become a doctor. He is having a difficult time concentrating on his studies. When you approach them, Hardy is thinking about what to do as he quietly ponders if it is because of you.
Trent blushes as Elli quietly asks him if he is okay. If you tell him he is sick, Hardy and Elli will laugh, while an embarrassed Trent replies that he is perfectly healthy and happy that you've cheered him up.
