Trent (ドクター, Dokutā^? lit. Doctor) is one of the villagers that travels from Mineral Town in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness.

Although Trent is from Mineral Town, he also serves as the doctor for everybody on the island. Trent will help to deliver the player's baby, even if he is not unlocked as a travelling villager yet. He will also treat the rival women on the island if they find out that they are pregnant as well. Rival women and their husbands will leave with Trent to give birth to their children in Mineral Town.

If you want Trent to visit your island as one of the Mineral Town travelers, you must first upgrade the hotel. When he visits, Trent stays at the hotel. He can be seen in various parts of the island. He arrives for one season sometime after the hotel is expanded, but will return regularly. He is usually the first to visit.

Trivia

• In the Japanese version, he is named Doctor, the exact same from Harvest Moon: Back To Nature and Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. The name "Trent" refers to his descendant instead and was only used in Harvest Moon: DS and Harvest Moon: DS Cute in the entire series. His name was changed by Natsume when the games were localized to prevent confusion.
