Teahouse "Tea-ful-Reunion"[]

Ginjiro's teahouse, Tea-ful Reunion is a gathering place for all of Tsuyukusa's residents. Diners can enjoy indoor or outdoor seating.

Ra Man's Wholesale Store[]

Tsuyukusa is home to numerous shops, the largest of which is the wholesale store. Ra Man's contains clothing, grocery, and general goods departments, and the owner is known for having interesting items for sale on the sly.

Inari's Shrine[]

On the far northern end of town is Inari's shrine, where the patron deity can be found after first making an appearance. This is a place where townsfolk go to pray.

South Tsuyukusa is famous among the three towns for its beautiful rice paddies, tended to by Ukemichi and other residents.

History[]

The great tree in town has been around for more than 300 years. A guardian of bounty and harvest is supposed to live there.

Etymology[]

つゆくさの里 (Tsuyukusa no sato, dew herb village) tsuyukusa is the Japanese word for Asiatic dayflower (commelina communis) literally meaning "dew herb" Asiatic dayflower, as the name suggests, blooms in the morning and closes up in the afternoon, similar to the morning glory, also found in Tsuyukusa Village. In Hananokotoba, the language of flowers, the meaning is fragility and nostalgic relationships.

Culture[]

All of Tsuyukusa has an air of dignity to it. The residents are polite and charming in their own ways. Even though the town is changing with time, cultural festivals and traditions are still the heart of the place. Residents wear traditional kimono and yukata. Local cuisine highlights the diverse ingredients in the region and its own unique cultural flavors.

Tsuyukusa has bridges over the river it is located on. The whole town has an Eastern ambiance. Rice paddies and fields of pampas grass and morning glories are some features of the area.
