Two weeks after Jin and Anissa got married, you will receive a letter in your mailbox from them, announcing the birth of their baby boy. As you walk into Choral Clinic, a scene of Jin and Anissa entertaining their newborn baby boy will play. They will tell you that his name is Van. You cannot interact with Van until he is fully-grown.

Two weeks after Van is born, you will receive another letter from Jin and Anissa. This time, they are going to take pictures with their son at Simon's Photos to celebrate his growth.

Go to Simon's Photos at any time when the store is open to see a cut-scene of Van introducing himself. From this point on, you can interact with him in various ways, such as gift-giving and socializing.

Water Science

Walk into Choral Clinic during its business hours when Van has 3 hearts or more. Van will teach your child Earth's water, explaining about precipitation and how it turns to rain. Your child will mention that the world's lakes and rivers have a lot of water, so Van wants to investigate more. In the end, Anissa makes them some snacks and they happily go to eat.
