Vesta (ベスタ Besuta, lit.Vesta) is a character in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition, Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life.
She is the other local farmer living in Forget-Me-Not-Valley. She is a successful farmer, and is a professional at growing and caring for crops. She lives with her brother, Marlin and their assistant Celia. Together, the three can be seen growing many different crops in each season. Unlike the player's farm, however, she has no animals.
She has a somewhat aggressive personality and gruff exterior, but she means well. She is very protective of Celia and treats her like family, often commenting that Celia isn't married yet. Celia calls her "Auntie", even though the two have no blood relation. Vesta also worries about the well being of her brother, and about his delicate health.
If you wish to buy seeds for your own farm, you will need to visit Vesta, Celia, or Marlin when they are inside their store or home. There's always a wide variety of seeds, as well as trees and fertilizer. Vesta will only sell you items, however, and will not buy anything from you.
If befriended, Vesta will give the player a Strange Hoe. Befriending her, Celia and Marlin will also influence your son's career path, and he will be more likely to become a farmer or rancher.
