Volcano Island (SI)

Volcano Island is a location in Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands.

This island can be raised from the sea's bottom by using 8 sun stones at the shrine on Meadow Island. Volcano Island is located south of Verdure Island and is where the game's only mine is located. Once raised, it can be accessed via Kirk's ferry service at any time.

Raising Volcano Island will allow the player to begin mining. It unlocks bachelor Will and bachelorette Lily. Sub villagers Isaac and Slater will also move in. Regis will begin to leave his mansion and will visit the island when the weather is nice in the afternoons. Both Will and Lily will also visit this island on a regular basis.

There are stones that can be broken down to material stone on the ground outside of the island in every season. The incredibly rare White Grass can be found outside randomly amongst the stones during the Winter season.

Sun Stones

• A Sun Stone can be found by examining the lava pool that's on the outside of the island (not inside the mine).
