The Watering Can is a type of tool in Harvest Moon: Back To Nature.
The Watering Can is used for watering your crops and flowers. Your watering can holds 100 units of water and will deplete with each use. It can be upgraded by giving the appropriate ore, along with a fee, to Saibara at the Blacksmith Shop. Every 100% allows a specific upgrade (indicated by a miniature ore icon). Tool upgrade levels are displayed in the tools menu.

By default, the Watering Can is able to water a 1x1 area of soil in front of the player.
Copper Watering Can[]
- Upgrade cost: Copper ore (x1) + 1,000G
The Copper Watering Can is able to water a 1x3 area of soil, in front of the player, with one fully-charged use.
Silver Watering Can[]
- Upgrade cost: Silver ore (x1) + 2,000G
The Silver Watering Can is able to water a 2x3 area of soil, in front of the player, with one fully-charged use.
Gold Watering Can[]
- Upgrade cost: Gold ore (x1) + 3,000G
The Gold Watering Can is able to water a 3x3 area of soil, in front of the player, with one fully-charged use.
Mystrile Watering Can[]
- Upgrade cost: Mystrile ore (x1) + 5,000G
The Mystrile Watering Can is able to water a 5x3 area of soil, in front of the player, with one fully-charged use.
